20 Minute Catfish


Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup almond flour

  • 2 pinches salt and pepper to taste

  • 8 (6 ounce) fillets catfish

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup oyster sauce

Total Time: 20 min Prep: 10 min Cook: 10 min
Yield: 8 Level: easy

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the catfish fillets in the flour mixture to lightly coat.
  2. Heat the extra virgin coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the catfish fillets 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Reduce heat to medium-low, and brush fillets with oyster sauce. Cover skillet, and continue cooking 5 minutes, or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.

Tip!

This recipe does not contain many non-starchy vegetables. To maximize your results, it is highly recommended that you eat at least three servings of non-starchy vegetables via a SANE side dish or green smoothie along with this main dish.
