Grilled Pork Chops


Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup water

  • 1/4 cup and 3 tablespoons light soy sauce

  • 1/3 cup extra virgin coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup lemon pepper seasoning

  • 2-3/4 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 8 boneless pork loin chops, trimmed of fat

Directions

  1. Mix water, soy sauce, extra virgin coconut oil, lemon pepper seasoning, and minced garlic in a deep bowl; add pork chops and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
  2. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  3. Remove pork chops from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  4. Cook the pork chops on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, 5 to 6 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

Tip!

This recipe does not contain many non-starchy vegetables. To maximize your results, it is highly recommended that you eat at least three servings of non-starchy vegetables via a SANE side dish or green smoothie along with this main dish.
