German Chocolate Pancakes


Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup chocolate protein powder

  • ½ cup unsweetened raw shredded coconut

  • 1 cup raw unsweetened cocoa powder (not Dutch process)

  • 6 tbsp Xyla xylitol

  • Cinnamon, to taste

  • Coconut oil spray

TIP: For best results, please enjoy this as part of a complete SANE meal (lots and lots of non-starchy vegetables, lots of nutrient dense protein, and some whole food fats).

Place all the ingredients into a blender in the order listed. ik

Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth.

Spray a skillet with coconut oil and place over medium heat.

Heat skillet for 2 minutes and pour batter into the skillet.

Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Gently lift the edge of the pancake with a spatula to check for browning. Once the underside is lightly browned, flip the pancake and cook for 20 to 30 seconds until cooked all the way through.

Serve immediately.

Tip!

This recipe does not contain any non-starchy vegetables. It is highly recommended that you drink a green smoothie before eating this dish to maximize your SANEity.
